SK Homes NZ is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. It covers both our website (skhomes.co.nz) and the AssessMate mobile app.
1. Who We Are
SK Homes NZ provides professional property inspection and assessment services across New Zealand, including pre-purchase property inspections, Healthy Homes assessments, moisture testing, and methamphetamine testing. We also develop AssessMate, the inspection tool used by our inspectors.

2. Information We Collect
Contact form submissions: Your name, email address, phone number, and enquiry details. Used solely to respond to your request.
Analytics: Aggregated, anonymous visitor data (pages viewed, traffic sources). We cannot identify individual visitors.
Cookies: Essential cookies only, required for the website to function correctly. No marketing or tracking cookies without consent.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your information is stored securely and accessed only by authorised SK Homes NZ staff. Contact form submissions are sent directly to our email and are not stored indefinitely on third-party servers.

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you may:

- Ask us to correct any inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal obligations)

AssessMate App – Privacy Information
AssessMate is a professional inspection tool used exclusively by authorised SK Homes NZ inspectors. It is not a consumer app.
What the app accesses

Data storage
Property details, inspection answers, and photos are stored on the inspector’s device and securely synced to our cloud database, hosted by Supabase in Sydney, Australia, so inspectors can access and continue an inspection across multiple devices. Data is encrypted in transit and is only accessible to authenticated SK Homes NZ team members.
Data sharing
We do not sell inspection data or share it with third parties for their own use. Supabase, our cloud infrastructure provider, stores data on our behalf only. Inspectors may also export and share a PDF report directly with a client — a deliberate action they take, not automatic.
Accounts and Account Deletion
Inspectors sign in to AssessMate with an individual email and password. Account holders can delete their account at any time from within the app, or by visiting assessmate.skhomes.co.nz/delete-account-request if the app is no longer installed.
